Hello and welcome to the website for the 2008 Section C-5B Conclave. We have created this page in hopes of creating a simple, easy to use portal for conclave info. Please contact us with any comments or suggestions about the site, and especially with any questions about conclave.
Introduction
"Go West, Brothers... To Your Higher Vision" This years Conclave is hosted in the western part of the Section, and is going to showcase the rich history of the wild west. The third conclave in C-5B's history, this conclave promises to be one to remember. Located at the Dodge City Community College, this Conclave is a first for our section because the entire conclave is goign to be held on the campus of a school, allowing such things as indoor sleeping arrangements, classrooms for training sessions, and multiple recreation options. Please utilize this site as best you can, and we'll see you in April!
A note on the files: This site offers files in Microsoft Word (doc) and Adobe PDF formats. Please click on the format types to download a free viewer if necessary. Feel free to use these files however you can to promote conclave; but please contact the webmaster before making any modifications.

Some of the other details are easily found in the registration packet (availiable for download on this site), but include the cost and timeline for the conclave. The cost for this year's conclave is $35 if submitted by April 3, 2008. After that date, the cost rises to $40 per delegate. So sign up with your Lodge today!
Training Opportunities
The Conclave Vice-Chief has been working hard to prepare classes to be offered at conclave. The purpose of conclave training is to allow arrowmen to learn from trainers that are not usually from thier lodge; as well as to learn about topics they've always been curious about. We'll have more specific details later, but here's what we're planning right now:
- Full List Coming Soon!
Conclave Vice-Chiefs
The C-5B Council of Chiefs decided to continue the use of a Conclave Vice-Chief (CVC) organizational structure for this conclave. This means that all four lodges in our section have a area of the conclave that they are responsible for, and a key youth on the conclave committee who represents that lodge. For this year, the following are the C-5B lodges and thier respective areas:
- Kansa Lodge; Shows
- Mandan Lodge(Service Lodge); Logistics and Trading Post
- Tamegonit Lodge; Training
- Wah-Sha-She Lodge; Awards, Activities, and Competitions
If you would like to be involved with the planning or exectution of this sucessful conclave, please contact your lodge chief or the CVC from your lodge. Also, just because a lodge has responsibility for a particular aspect of conclave, by no means should they use only arrowmen from their lodge to execute their plans. We have a very diverse section made up of very talented arrowmen, so please be open to helping under a CVC from a different lodge!
